BrokenLore: DON’T LIE Announced

The BrokenLore series has successfully immersed players in unsettling atmospheres with a unique psychological horror story in each installment. The new installment, teased ahead of Tokyo Game Show 2025, has finally been officially announced. Announced as DON’T LIE, the game is being developed in partnership with Wired Productions and Serafini Productions. While no release date has been announced yet, the initial information has already generated considerable curiosity.

BrokenLore: DON’T LIE Deepens Psychological Horror

BrokenLore: DON’T LIE will delve into the first-person psychological horror genre. Players will witness Junko’s life, confined to a small apartment. As loneliness and paranoia escalate, the lines between reality and fantasy become completely blurred. The uncertainty of whether what is seen is real or not elevates the game’s atmosphere to its most disturbing levels.

Sebastiano Serafini, creator of Serafini Productions, says this production is a significant step in the BrokenLore universe. He believes DON’T LIE will expand the series’ mythology while also telling a standalone story. This aspect aims to appeal to both established fans and newcomers.

Wired Productions is providing additional support for the project. The publishing house’s director, Leo Zullo, states that Serafini’s creative vision aligns with the indie spirit. According to Zullo, BrokenLore is not just a horror series, but also a narrative world that addresses social issues. Therefore, DON’T LIE is expected to stand out in terms of both atmosphere and theme.

The gameplay also features striking details. Players will explore unsettling locations to collect clues and fragments of memories. However, the game isn’t just about exploration; it also features sections requiring hiding and remaining silent. Scenes where hallucinations haunt you will ratchet up the tension and intensify the fight for survival.

BrokenLore: DON’T LIE is poised to breathe new life into the psychological horror genre. While no release date has been announced yet, this game, announced for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC, has already become one of the most talked-about horror games of the year.
