CoD: Future Warfare Gameplay Video Leaked Online
The origins of Future Warfare can be traced back to the massive reorganization that followed the departure of Jason West and Vince Zempalla from Infinity Ward. “Neversoft continued development of Guitar Hero and began work on the NX1, which would be called ‘Call of Duty: Future Warfare’.” The game, which began development around 2010, had great potential at the time.
However, Neversoft never got the chance to complete the project and the game was canceled. Now gameplay footage has leaked online. The footage shows that it has an almost completed script, but the game was canceled while it was still in early development. Therefore, some unfinished mechanics can be seen in the leaked footage.
The game was set in the future, in a very different atmosphere to the Call of Duty series. Those who have seen gameplay footage note that the game offers an almost complete story. However, Future Warfare was never officially unveiled and released. In the leaked clips, we see that it takes place in a scenario with future technology and weapons.
Gameplay footage and clips have started to spread rapidly across many platforms on the internet. The fact that Future Warfare never materialized makes Call of Duty fans curious and sad at the same time.
