Crimson Desert Patch 1.05.00 Released
The 1.05.00 patch for Crimson Desert brings significant improvements aimed at keeping the game world more vibrant. Pearl Abyss hasn’t just focused on bug fixes with this update; they’ve also added systems that offer players renewed challenges. The Rematch and Re-Blockade features are particularly noteworthy for players seeking more action in the world after clearing main areas.
What Does the Crimson Desert 1.05.00 Patch Bring?
One of the most important new features of the update is the Rematch system. Players can now challenge powerful bosses they’ve previously encountered. By lighting a flashlight at the boss’s location, players can read memorial fragments and restart the fight. Initially, rematch support is offered for 69 bosses. The Memories mode takes the player back to an experience close to their first encounter with the boss, while the Echo mode adjusts boss statistics according to the player’s progress. For now, no loot is given at the end of a rematch, and consumed materials are replenished.
Another major innovation is the re-blockade system. Bases meeting certain conditions can now be re-attacked with a certain probability. Players can set the frequency of this system with three different settings: Stable, Tense, and Chaos. Initially, 23 forts and quarries, including 13 factions, are included in this system. The development team plans to increase both the number of factions and the enemy threat in future updates.
The patch also brings new content in terms of creatures and pets. The Iron Eagle and Hyacinth Macaw Parrot have been added as pets, while the Mountain Spirit Wild Boar has also been introduced. In addition, new interactions such as lifting, dropping, and petting have been added to the Goose and Duck pets. The ability to interact with gold bars, the addition of a new point for the Pumpkin Helmet, and the increased visibility of some puzzle hints are among the changes that facilitate exploration.
On the technical side, there is a fairly extensive list of fixes. Issues such as legendary mounts dying after being summoned, companion trust resetting, bosses not being stunned, some controls resetting, incorrect chapter names appearing in save files, and various crashing issues have been fixed. Dynamic Multiframe Generation has been added for the GeForce RTX 50 series on PC. Screen clarity enhancement settings have been added for consoles, while some rendering errors have been fixed on Mac. Overall, Crimson Desert 1.05.00 stands out as a comprehensive update that both strengthens the game’s content loop and cleans up many long-standing bugs.
