Cronos: The New Dawn Official Gameplay Trailer Released
Bloober Team has revealed a new trailer for Cronos: The New Dawn, which contains closer look at the gunplay, enemies, traversal, and environment of the next original IP.

First revealed during the Xbox Partner Preview showcase on October 17, 2024, Cronos: The New Dawn is set in an alternate reality in which Travelers explore both the past and the future in search of those who can help prevent a cataclysmic event from destroying humanity. Players will need to battle against mutated creatures while uncovering the horrors hidden in the remnants of the world, and the latest trailer for Cronos: The New Dawn showcases exactly how players will fight to change the past and bring about a new future.
Inspired by Resident Evil and earning early comparisons to both Dead Space and Silent Hill, Cronos: The New Dawn sees players utilizing a variety of weapons and tools to make their way through ruined wastelands while fighting against grotesque enemies. Players will be able to choose from a variety of different guns, including pistol and shotgun-style weapons, along with a fire launcher and pulse gun. Weapon swaps are near instantaneous, making for snappy gunplay that relies on quick thinking and tactical strategizing. The Traveler is equipped with a spacesuit that allows players to shift from one platform to another in zero gravity and a unique tool that can reshape pathways, adding a mind-bending twist to the traversal mechanics of Cronos: The New Dawn.
The gameplay reveal trailer for Cronos: The New Dawn also includes a better look at some of the enemies, as well as a hint at the background behind their creation. Each mutant consists of a main humanoid body and dozens of dangling tendrils, which can grab onto other corpses littered about and pull them in to create a new hideous mass. The trailer includes the phrase “Don’t Let Them Merge,” warning players that they will want to dispatch enemies quickly to prevent these monsters from evolving. Players can dive into the cosmic horrors of Cronos: The New Dawn when it launches across platforms in 2025.
