Death Stranding 2 Got Official Age Rating
Hideo Kojima’s anticipated game, Death Stranding 2 received an official age rating, which can mean release date will be sooner rather than later.
New Update for Death Stranding 2
Kojima has slowly been revealing new details about Death Stranding 2 in the years since its initial announcement. It’s been confirmed that the new game will be bringing back many of the cast members that appeared in the original Death Stranding, including Norman Reedus as Sam Porter Bridges. It’s also been confirmed that Elle Fanning will be appearing in the game as the mysterious character known as “Tomorrow.”
While an official release date for the game still has not been announced, Death Stranding 2 has received an age rating from South Korean ratings board GRAC. As reported by Push Square, the age rating says that Death Stranding 2 will include “excessive violence,” swearing, and drug use. All of this is expected, but whenever a game gets an age rating, it is a good sign that the project is proceeding as expected and may very well be nearing release.
This isn’t the only encouraging update Death Stranding 2 has received recently. Earlier this week, Hideo Kojima himself teased that a new Death Stranding 2 trailer is on the way. Combined with Death Stranding 2 getting an official age rating, it seems as though the next trailer could very well confirm the game’s release date.
Rumors and claims from reliable insiders have insisted that a new PlayStation State of Play event is taking place in February. The latest claims narrow down the State of Play date to as early as next week, potentially even on Valentine’s Day. Now, Sony itself has not officially announced the State of Play yet, and so fans should take these claims with a grain of salt.
