Death Stranding 2 Will Have a Big Presentation
September 29th will be a big day for Death Stranding fans. Kojima Productions has announced the expansion of the Death Stranding 2: On The Beach presentation at Tokyo Game Show 2024. Originally planned for one hour, the presentation will now last a full 90 minutes. New details about Hideo Kojima’s post-apocalyptic universe will be revealed at this highly anticipated event.
Death Stranding 2 Event Extended
The Death Stranding 2 presentation at Tokyo Game Show 2024 will be longer than previously planned. Kojima Productions announced this change in late September. The presentation will last 90 minutes and the program will start at 10:00 am. Hideo Kojima will be joined by actor and director Nicolas Winding Refn, Daichi Miura and Kenjiro Tsuda. The event will be streamed live on YouTube.
While Kojima Productions did not elaborate on why the presentation was extended, it is likely that the additional time will be filled with more guest appearances and new content for the game. The new footage that will be presented at the Tokyo Game Show is known to have been prepared weeks in advance.
Death Stranding 2 was unveiled with an extended trailer at The Game Awards event in December 2022. Kojima Productions has previously announced that the game is targeted for release in 2025. However, a concrete release date is not yet clear. Given Sony’s plans for its fiscal year, it seems likely that the game will be released in the second half of 2025.
In addition to Death Stranding 2, other games will be on display at the PlayStation booth. Visitors will have the chance to try out games like Astro Bot and Monster Hunter Wilds. These demonstrations will be a great showcase for the Death Stranding universe as well as other PlayStation games.
What are your expectations for this long and comprehensive presentation?
