Death Stranding 3 is Ready

Hideo Kojima, one of the gaming world’s most innovative figures, has successfully created a unique universe with the Death Stranding series. Following the release of the first game in 2019, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, released this year, has generated significant interest from gamers. However, Kojima’s statements regarding the series’ future were both exciting and thought-provoking.

Kojima: “Death Stranding 3 Concept Ready”

Kojima answered questions from fans at an event as part of his World Tour. When an audience member asked, “Will Death Stranding 3 be coming?”, the renowned designer replied, “I don’t have any plans right now. Death Stranding 2 was like the finale of the first game. But I wrote the concept for Death Stranding 3, and I have it on file.” These comments hinted that the series could continue with a new installment in the future.

The most striking point in Kojima’s statements was that the game might not be created by him. The renowned producer stated that the concept he developed could one day be brought to life by others. This sparked discussions about whether the Death Stranding universe could continue beyond Kojima’s time.

On the other hand, Kojima also touched on the challenges faced during the development of Death Stranding 2. He particularly emphasized that the COVID-19 pandemic significantly impacted the production. Despite this, he stated that the end result was an emotional and cinematic experience that resonated with players.

Kojima, who has also been mindful of his health in recent years, frequently messages his fans about the fragility of life. In his own words, “If my team tries to simply imitate me, they will fail.” This approach suggests that even if Death Stranding 3 is ever made, it could present a completely different creative vision.
