Deathstalker Release Date Announced

After years of silence, the Deathstalker series is preparing to revive this year. Known for its fantastical atmosphere, unforgettable characters, and epic story, the series will return to audiences with a completely different adventure. Expectations are high, as both longtime fans and new audiences are eagerly awaiting this return.

Deathstalker Reborn

The new Deathstalker film will be released in the US and Canada on October 10, 2025. It will premiere at the Locarno Film Festival on August 15. While distribution agreements have been reached for Japan and Germany, specific dates have not yet been officially announced. This long-dormant cult series is poised to make a powerful return to the international scene.

Deathstalker Release Date Announced

The story begins with the Kingdom of Abraxeon under sudden attack by the mysterious Dreadite army. Living amidst the chaos, Deathstalker, a mercenary warrior, stumbles upon a magical talisman on a bloody battlefield. However, this talisman is no ordinary treasure; a curse it carries leads him down a path filled with deadly assassins and ancient evils. Our hero must embark on a perilous journey to break this curse.

Christina Orjalo stands out as Brisbayne, Deathstalker’s companion. Nina Bergman plays Grendul, the powerful leader of the Abraxeon Thieves Guild. Patton Oswalt also voices a character in the film, adding a unique dimension to the film. Each character brings a unique dynamic and depth to the story.

The project, which extends beyond the film world, is being expanded with a comic book series specifically created for Deathstalker. This project, undertaken by Vault Comics, stars director Steven Kostanski, writer Tim Seeley, artist Jim Terry, and Guns N’ Roses’ Slash. Slash is also working with Bear McCreary and Chuck Cirino on the soundtrack, aiming to deliver a powerful visual and audio experience for fans of the series.
