Demon’s Night Fever: Next-Gen Simulation RPG On The Way
Arc System Works, Drecom, and SuperNiche, founded by former Nippon Ichi Software president Sohei Niikawa, have announced a new RPG game called Demon’s Night Fever. It was announced that this extraordinary production, which focuses on the theme of “embracing evil,” will be released in 2026. Platform information has not yet been shared.
Demon’s Night Fever Will Offer a Different RPG Experience Focused on Evil
Sohei Niikawa, one of the game’s creative team, stated during the Arc System Works Showcase that Demon’s Night Fever aims to leave behind similarly themed games he has made in the past. The game’s full genre description is quite striking: “Enemies? Allies? Kill Kill Kill! The More You Die the Stronger You Become! Raising Simulation Speedrunning RPG.”
Although gameplay footage has not yet been shared, Niikawa stated that they are in the final stages of development and have prepared a “unique, crazy and one-of-a-kind” game. The game’s story takes place in a world where evil reigns. The main character, Kyoshiro, is an ordinary boy who hates the world, but crosses paths with a supposed evil god who has lost his powers. The duo create chaos together in this dark world.
The game’s visual design is by Yuji Himukai, whose script is written by Roman Kitayama, and the music is by Tatsuya Yano. The promotional trailer has been released and the first details can be accessed via the official website. Demon’s Night Fever is preparing to offer an unusual RPG experience for “gamers who want to be evil.”
