Diablo 4 was released back in 2023, becoming the fourth mainline entry in Blizzard’s legendary action RPG franchise. The game managed to utilize the classic Diablo formula while ushering in several new gameplay tweaks, features, and graphical improvements that helped modernize the newest entry in the renowned ARPG series. Diablo 4 has continued to feel new and fresh thanks to seasonal content, with the game set to debut its biggest upgrade yet with its Vessel of Hatred expansion. Ahead of this highly anticipated release, Diablo general manager Rod Fergusson has some good news for those planning on picking up a PS5 Pro.

In a Twitter response to a fan, Fergusson announced Diablo 4 and the game’s upcoming Vessel of Hatred expansion would be available on the PS5 Pro. “I’ve been getting this question quite a bit recently,” said Fergusson. “I’m happy to say that Diablo 4 and Vessel of Hatred will indeed be PS5 Pro Enhanced.”

It’s unknown what kind of enhancements are in store for Diablo 4, but it seems like the team is keeping PS5 Pro users in mind as the game’s new content inches closer to release. Diablo 4’s Vessel of Hatred expansion ushers in a new era for the game and the franchise in general. Alongside new items and weapons for players to collect, the expansion will also introduce fans to a brand-new class called Spiritborn. Vessel of Hatred will also add new monsters, dungeons, and strongholds for players to conquer, as well as new characters to interact with and storylines to explore.
