Dispatch Coming to Switch and Switch 2

The Switch and Switch 2 versions of Dispatch have surfaced thanks to a listing on the Australian Nintendo eShop. According to this listing, the game will be released on Nintendo platforms on January 29, 2026. It’s stated that users who purchase Dispatch on Switch will receive a free upgrade pack for Switch 2. This pack will offer technical advantages such as higher resolution and improved frame rates.

Dispatch, with its episodic structure, quickly managed to reach a wide audience. Surpassing 2 million sales in its first month after release, the game stood out with its narrative style and unique humor. In fact, it had such a strong impact that the director of The Witcher 3 named it game of the year.

The game is described as a superhero office comedy from the creative team behind Tales from the Borderlands and The Wolf Among Us. In Dispatch, players take control of Robert Robertson, known as Mecha Man, and assume the role of a dispatch operator managing emergencies instead of a hero in the field. Every decision made directly affects the course of the story.
