Donkey Kong Bananza’s Secret Language Deciphered

Donkey Kong Bananza draws attention not only with its action but also with its secret alphabet. It turned out that the strange symbols seen in the game’s trailers, website and gameplay footage were actually part of a secret language. The person who solved this mystery was a careful player who understood the symbols step by step through the repetitive structures in the texts.

Donkey Kong Bananza’s Alphabet Secret Revealed

According to newly released information, the symbolic writings in Donkey Kong Bananza are not random. These signs, which we encounter at different points in the game, symbolize letters corresponding to certain words. Following this discovery, players began to decipher some parts of the symbolic alphabet called “Bananabet”.

The first step in the solution process was taken by analyzing the in-game phrase “Chip Exchange” written with symbols on a signboard on the map. When this phrase was compared with the number of symbols on the signboard, the fact that the beginning and end of the word ended with the same sign provided an important clue. These details revealed that the alphabet was created in a systematic structure.

Other words in the alphabet were derived from repeated phrases in the game. With the matching of words such as “Welcome” and “Hint” with symbols, more complex texts began to gain meaning. For example, a signboard reads “Message. Thank you for reading. Someone.” This shows that the developers intend to establish a secret communication with the players.

These findings give signs of a large world-building for the universe of Donkey Kong Bananza. It is understood that the game will offer a deep experience not only with its gameplay, but also with its hidden content and discoverable details. The game, which will be released for Switch 2 on June 5, is on its way to establishing a structure similar to the language systems in the Zelda series in this respect.
