EA Sports FC 26 Release Date and Platforms Announced
The release date and platforms for the eagerly awaited EA Sports FC 26 have been announced. The Ultimate Edition will be released on September 19, 2025. Standard Edition users will be able to access the game a week later, on September 25. The new information was leaked by Dealabs ahead of EA’s official announcement.
EA Sports FC 26 Will Be Available on Both New and Old-Gen
EA Sports FC 26 will be playable on current platforms such as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and, for the first time, the Nintendo Switch 2. However, this version doesn’t exclude previous-gen consoles. PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the original Nintendo Switch users will also be able to experience the game. This is considered a positive development for football fans who haven’t given up on their old consoles.
Owners of the Ultimate Edition will also receive 10 hours of early access starting September 19th. This access is available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or EA Play members. These members will also be able to take advantage of a special discount when they purchase the game.
The cover stars have already been revealed. The Ultimate Edition will feature football legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic on the cover. The standard edition will feature Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham and Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala.
The modes and innovations that will be included in the new game will be revealed at EA’s official launch in the coming weeks. However, the continued support of older-generation consoles is already being considered a notable choice in the gaming world.
