Elden Ring Nightreign May Get an Unlimited Competitive Mode

Things are looking up for Elden Ring Nightreign. An exciting development regarding the game could send fans glued to their screens again. Some players are ready for this change, while others are already feeling a little confused. However, the latest leak could impact the game’s future.

Deep of Night: The Gates to Infinite Competition Are Opening

Traces of a new game mode called “Deep of Night” have been found in the files of Elden Ring Nightreign, developed by FromSoftware. A Reddit post explains that this mode will have a ranked structure and that players will be ranked in five different levels of depth based on their achievements. Victories will increase players’ scores, while losses will decrease them. However, levels reached cannot be regained.

In this mode, matches are based on the players’ “Depth” range. If there aren’t enough players, the system will match them from a larger pool. The difficulty is designed to increase with each level. Players will participate in challenges determined by the system, not based on their chosen objectives.

The name of the mode was first revealed in the in-game files during the Duo update. While FromSoftware hasn’t officially announced the matter, similar details have surfaced through leaks in the past. This suggests that a “Deep of Night” mode may indeed be in development.

With Elden Ring Nightreign and Shadow of the Erdtree DLC already achieving significant success, this PvP-focused update could further expand the player base. If the rumors are true, gamers will be in for a long and challenging challenge.
