Everyone’s Pregnant in the Sims 4 Update
The Sims 4 has been plagued by many strange bugs in the past, but the new issue following the latest update may be the strangest yet. According to player reports, characters in the game have begun spontaneously becoming pregnant without any interaction. This issue is even affecting children and male characters.
The Sims 4 Pregnancy Bug Shocks Players
This bug, which appeared after the last major update in The Sims 4, quickly became a widespread phenomenon on social media. A Reddit user shared an image showing a little girl character pregnant, unable to blow out the candles on her birthday cake. Other users have reported similar issues, with some noting that their male characters also appear pregnant in the game.
Many players trying to participate in the game’s latest events report being unable to access these modes because their characters are all pregnant at the same time. Some users even say they can’t even try for babies or get a pregnancy test because the game already assumes their characters are pregnant. This makes it impossible to play the game normally.
Developer EA announced through Sims Direct Communications that it is aware of the issue and is working on a solution. However, an official fix hasn’t been released yet. The fact that the latest patch didn’t address the issue suggests the problem may be more complex than anticipated.
Some users report temporarily resolving the issue by uninstalling installed pregnancy mods or repairing the game. However, such solutions appear to be unavailable for console users. Without a clear update from the developers, it appears players will have to live with this unexpected baby boom for a while longer.
