Arjun seems to be stuck in a time loop and grows stronger with each death. In the trailer, Arjun’s words are striking: “Every time the sun dies, madness reigns. But after each death, I come back, stronger.”

In the trailer, Arjun is seen looking at a calm ocean view and a multi-armed creature emerges. This scene impressively reveals the dark and dramatic atmosphere of the game. Housemarque announced that story details and the NPC cast will be revealed in the future.

Saros Gameplay and Features

Saros is designed as an action game that challenges players to survive in the harsh conditions of the planet Carcosa. Building on Returnal’s gameplay structure, the game aims to offer a more long-term and permanent progression system. Players will be able to permanently upgrade Arjun’s equipment and armor after each death. This feature will allow players to become stronger with each cycle.

Which Platforms Will Saros Be Released On?

Saros has only been announced for PS5 and PS5 Pro for now. It is certain that the game will be a PlayStation exclusive.
