Fallout: London’s First DLC Is Coming, But You’ll Have to Start From the Beginning

Fallout: London, one of the most notable mods for the Fallout series, quickly gained a large fan base after its release last year. Now, the mod’s developer, Team FOLON, is back with its first expansion. However, along with the exciting content comes a bit of a challenge.

Fallout: London Rabbit and Pork Announced

Team FOLON has announced the name of the first of three expansions for Fallout: London: Rabbit and Pork. This London slang term for “chat” directly relates to the new characters and dialogue added to the game. The expansion will not only fill in content that was cut or missing, but will also introduce new side quests and random encounters.

The most striking aspect of the pack is that players will not be able to continue with their previous saves. Developer Dean “Prilladog” Carter states that this lays the groundwork for the two upcoming expansions. This will eliminate the need to start from scratch for subsequent content. While this may be a hassle, it aims to provide a more robust experience in the long run.

Rabbit and Pork will add 43 new random encounters, 80 new NPCs, 24 side quests, and a special companion for those who join a particular faction. One of the side quests centers on a story unfolding around the London Eye, a London landmark. This continues to combine the city’s iconic locations with an atmosphere unique to the Fallout universe.

Two additional expansions are planned for Fallout: London in the future. The second pack, Last Orders, will be themed around a pub, judging by the released images. The final pack, Wildcard, will feature main quests related to the mode’s factions and leave London’s future to the player’s choices.

While a definitive release date hasn’t been announced yet, the team’s recent silence on new content suggests Rabbit and Pork will be released very soon. The countdown has officially begun for Fallout: London fans.
