Fortnite Galactic Battle Season Introduced
Fortnite’s Chapter 6 Season 3, Galactic Battle, begins tomorrow. This season, which will offer players the opportunity to fight both on the ground and in the air, comes with special areas shaped with a Star Wars theme, new weapons, force abilities and memorable characters. Content will also be constantly expanding with events that will be offered gradually throughout the season.
What’s in the Fortnite Galactic Battle Season?
Four different important areas (POIs) are added to the map in the new season: First Order Base, Resistance Base, Outpost Enclave and Solitude, which was captured by Darth Vader Samurai. Players will have access to aircraft such as TIE Fighters and X-Wings in these areas and will be able to change the course of the battle with different equipment. While the TIE Fighter offers a fast single-person attack vehicle, the X-Wing offers longer range and defense.
Lightsabers and Force abilities also make their mark this season. Players can get blue, red or purple lightsabers by receiving training from Rey, Palpatine, Mace Windu and Darth Maul. Each character gives players different force abilities. For example, those who defeat Darth Vader can get the Force Saber Throw skill, which allows them to throw the sword like a boomerang.
In addition to classic weapons, many new blasters are also coming to the new season. In addition to weapons such as the DL-44 Blaster Pistol, CR-2 Blaster SMG, ACP Scatter Blaster, DLT-19 Blaster Rifle, old favorites such as the DC-15 and E-11 are also being introduced to players. In addition, players who manage to defeat Captain Phasma in the First Order Base will be able to get the F-11D Blaster and a special medal.
Content will be further enriched in the coming weeks. Chewbacca will join the game on May 15, and the Mandalorian on May 22. Along with these characters, weapons such as the Wookiee Bowcaster, Amban Sniper Rifle, and dual WESTAR-34 Blaster pistols will be in the game. Finally, on May 29, the Star Destroyer will land on the island and players will compete to take control of this massive ship. On June 7, the Galactic Battle V: Death Star Sabotage story event will begin.
