Genshin Impact 4.5 patch is just around the corner and just like previous patches, special program did reveal new information about the upcoming patch.
Genshin Impact 4.5 Special Program did reveal that next patch will feature various of events. We don’t get new map expansion because we just got Chenyu Vale for Lantern Rite. Chiori will be the only new character in the upcoming patch. Special Program revealed her kit and more information. Aside from Chiori, HoYoverse revealed new type of banner for the game.
This banner type is called Chronicled Path, which will allow players to pull for their desired weapon or character. This banner will feature older characters such as Klee, Eula or Albedo and weapons like Beacon of the Reed Sea and Hunter’s Path.

Chronicled Path will currently feature these characters and weapons. We guess that at the end of 4.X patches or 5.X patches, this banner will be changed and feature more characters. Since Genshin Impact’s character list is evolving each patch, it’s good to see that we can actually no longer wait for older characters to rerun, instead we can just pull them whenever we want.
Chronicled Path will feature 50/50, just like the other banners. But if you lose one 50/50, then you are quaranteed to get the weapon or character you choose. Just like limited banner, this banner will also use Intertwined Fates.
Aside from new banner type and event, new patch banner order also revealed. In the first half, Chiori will be released alongside Arataki Itto rerun. In the second half, we will see Neuvillette and Kazuha rerun. Fontaine reruns are already starting.
Genshin Impact 4.5 will be released at March 13.
