Genshin Impact has countless pets you can get. Pets are usually companions you can use alongside your active character. Except the gagdet ones, pets are usually are only exist as decorative item. Since they disappear when you enter combat or start swimming.

Genshin Impact Endora doesn’t disappear
Genshin Impact was launched without pets, but the companions were added in update 1.2. Pets that Genshin Impact players could acquire from the get-go are Curcuma, Rose, and Dayflower, but more have been added through subsequent updates. On top of the release of these pets, update 1.2 included new equipment, characters, artifacts, events, systems, quests, and the Domain of Dragonspine.
Endora was added with Genshin Impact update 1.4 as a reward in the Wishful Drops event, and players have been unlocking it each time the season rolls around. One Genshin Impact fan with an Endora noticed a detail about the pet that makes it stand out compared to the others.

Recent Fontaine release showed us that all pets except Endora disappear when you dive except Endora. If you dive then equip other pets, then they disappear immediately, except Endora. This is a really cool feature Hoyoverse developed in Fontaine update.
Given that Endora is also called an Oceanid, it may not be a surprise to some Genshin Impact players that it can swim.
Genshin Impact is available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development for a very long time.
