Ghost of Yotei Themed Special PS5 Consoles Introduced

Sucker Punch surprised players with a surprise announcement at its State of Play event, unveiling a limited edition PS5 console and DualSense controllers specifically designed for Ghost of Yotei. Inspired by the Ezo region, where the game takes place, these designs stand out with both their visual elegance and cultural details.

Ghost of Yotei-Themed PS5 Designs Coming

Sucker Punch made an exciting announcement at the end of its Ghost of Yotei gameplay presentation. The limited-edition PS5 bundles and accessories, which will be available starting October 2, 2025, will be available in two options: gold and black. Both designs feature the silhouette of Mount Yotei. The controllers’ touchpad features the game’s protagonist, Atsu.

The gold version is inspired by the Japanese art of kintsugi, where broken ceramics are repaired with gold. The black version draws inspiration from sumi-e, a Japanese brush art. The consoles’ top cover and DualSense controllers also feature a special seal bearing the PlayStation symbol.

The special Ghost of Yotei-themed PS5 bundles will include a PS5 console with a disc drive, a DualSense wireless controller with the same design, and a digital version of the game. Exclusive pre-order content will also be included. For players who prefer not to purchase a console, special covers for the PS5 Slim and PS5 Pro models, sold separately, will be available.

All of these items will be available starting October 2nd, the game’s release date. These collectibles, which align with both Ghost of Yotei’s story and aesthetic, are likely to attract the attention of PlayStation collectors.
