Goodnight Universe Console Release Date Announced

Goodnight Universe, which stands out with its humorous and heartbreaking narrative, has a console release date. Developed by Skybound Games and published by Nice Dream, the game is set to launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC. This emotional adventure, featuring innovative camera-controlled gameplay, will be especially appealing to fans of “Before Your Eyes.”

Goodnight Universe Available on All Platforms in November

Goodnight Universe will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, Switch, and PC (Steam) on November 11, 2025. The developer, Nice Dream, known for their previous project “Before Your Eyes,” offers a unique experience by placing players in the shoes of six-month-old baby Isaac. The story unfolds between Isaac’s struggle to maintain his connection with his family and the interest of a shadowy tech corporation.

One of the game’s most striking features is its ability to be played with facial tracking technology. On camera-enabled platforms, players will be able to direct Isaac’s world with their own facial expressions. This system is a much more advanced version of the technology introduced in “Before Your Eyes,” deepening the emotional connection.

Goodnight Universe is ambitious not only technically but also with its cast. Lewis Pullman plays Isaac, while well-known actors like Kerri Kenney-Silver, Al Madrigal, and Tessa Espinola voice his family members. Beau Bridges, Timothy Simons, and Sarah Burns also play supporting roles.

Players will take an active role in Isaac’s chain of events, from organizing the house with his newfound psychic powers to confronting a malicious corporation. Throughout this interactive narrative, players will communicate with family members to guide the story, attempt to mend broken bonds, and experience moments that will both evoke laughter and thought.
