What’s New in the GTA 5 Update

This free update for PC includes many notable innovations. Players will be able to take advantage of advanced graphical features such as ray-tracing support, global illumination, and ambient occlusion. In addition, higher resolutions, higher frame rates, and Dolby Atmos support will provide a better audio experience.

The update will significantly reduce the game’s loading times, and new vehicles and vehicle upgrades from Hao’s Special Works will also be included on PC. Additionally, the GTA+ subscription for the online experience is now available to PC users. Rockstar will be giving away $4 million in in-game currency to all players as a starting bonus.

The new update comes with higher hardware requirements. The minimum requirements include an Intel Core i7-4770 processor and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1630 graphics card, while the recommended requirements include more powerful components like an NVIDIA RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon RX 6600XT.

Players whose hardware doesn’t meet these requirements will still be able to play the current version of GTA 5. However, online matchmaking between the two versions will not be possible. Older version users will play on a separate server.

Rockstar plans to announce a new update for GTA Online in March, which will bring new content that will offer players “sky-high illicit income opportunities.” In addition, expectations have increased for the announcement of GTA 6. This update to the PC version of GTA 5 brings the game’s graphics and performance in line with the requirements of the age. New features and improvements will be available to players as of March 4.
