GTA 6 Fans Believe Jason is Arthur Morgan’s Grandson

With Rockstar’s new screenshots, GTA 6 fans have had the opportunity to take a much closer look at the Jason character. However, the visuals not only revealed the character’s design but also sparked a new theory connected to Red Dead Redemption 2. Some players believe Jason bears a striking resemblance to Arthur Morgan.

GTA 6 Jason Theory Brings Arthur Morgan Connection to the Fore

According to a theory circulating among fans, Jason, one of the characters in GTA 6, may have a blood relation to Arthur Morgan, the unforgettable character from Red Dead Redemption 2. This claim is based entirely on player comments and has not been confirmed by Rockstar. Nevertheless, Jason’s facial features, gaze, and overall expression remind many people of Arthur Morgan.

The subtle references between different universes in Rockstar games make this theory even more interesting. The appearance of a book titled “Red Dead” by J. Marston in GTA 5, a reference to Madam Nazar in GTA Online, and old photos related to Red Dead Redemption 2 in El Rubio’s mansion, all lead players to take these connections seriously.

Despite this, it’s difficult to say that the theory has a definitive basis. Rockstar frequently uses realistic character designs, especially those with tough, weathered, and realistic personalities. Therefore, the resemblance between Jason and Arthur Morgan could be a deliberate reference, or it could be a purely coincidental design choice. Some fans even argue that Jason resembles a young John Marston.

The known story of Arthur Morgan further complicates this theory. In Red Dead Redemption 2, it’s known that Arthur’s son, Isaac, died before the events of the game. Therefore, the direct grandson theory seems quite weak for now. Nevertheless, it wouldn’t surprise players if Rockstar fueled this debate with a small painting, document, or hidden reference in GTA 6.
