H.A.I.N Demo Released on Steam

The long-awaited step for H.A.I.N: Heir of the Ancient Immortal Necromancer has arrived. Designed as a two-stage co-op horror experience, the single-player demo version of the game has been released as part of Steam Next Fest. The demo showcases the game’s atmosphere, exploration structure, and the core dynamics of its ritual mechanics.

The H.A.I.N: Heir of the Ancient Immortal Necromancer demo offers the opportunity to experience the first stage of the game in single-player mode. Set in the cursed lands of Lost Spring, this section allows players to explore by choosing one of four different areas: an abandoned town, a forgotten cemetery, an old mine, and a dark forest. The goal seems simple: to understand why this world draws you here and to survive.

Although the ritual hasn’t yet begun in the demo, the sense of threat is constantly present. Players learn they’ve been brought to these lands as sacrifices to the Necromancer and navigate an atmosphere where darkness constantly watches. Ultra-realistic visuals, dynamic lighting, and intense fog effects are key elements that heighten the tension.

Throughout the exploration, environmental clues, hidden areas, and simple puzzle structures stand out. The map presents a structure full of untold stories, as players try to get one step closer to the truth behind the curse. Character customization options are also included in the demo.

The development team specifically emphasizes that the multiplayer betrayal mechanic and the “Heir of the Necromancer” role will be featured in the main game. The demo only covers the initial stage.
