Half-Life 2 RTX New Images and Gameplay Video Leaked

Half-Life 2 RTX has come to the fore with new screenshots and gameplay video. Developed in collaboration with NVIDIA and Orbifold Studios, this free remaster aims to revive the classic FPS game with modern graphics. While it was stated that the leaked 6-minute gameplay video belongs to an old structure, it was also confirmed that the video was from 2023. The developers stated that the quality of the final version will be better than these images.

Half-Life 2 RTX: Advanced Graphics and Technologies

Half-Life 2 RTX brings the original game to modern standards using NVIDIA’s latest technologies. The game, which draws attention with its Full Ray Tracing and Path Tracing support, will also support DLSS 3 and DLSS 3.5 technologies. These features aim to provide higher performance especially to RTX 40 series graphics card owners. Users with old RTX graphics cards will be able to use modes that convert between DLSS 3 and FSR 3.

The remaster, which offers a major graphical innovation, includes completely restructured materials and 8x higher resolution textures. The geometric details in the game have been increased 20x compared to the original. Elements such as Gordon Freeman’s iconic armor in particular have been detailed to a level that rivals modern AAA games.

A release date has not yet been announced for Half-Life 2 RTX. However, leaked images and gameplay videos show that the game’s development process is quite advanced. This NVIDIA-powered remaster aims to impress players not only graphically but also atmospherically.
