Project Borealis, one of the biggest hopes for the third game Half-Life fans have been waiting years for, is now available on Steam. This fan-made project, which will be a sequel to Half-Life 2, coincides with the 20th anniversary of the legendary game. Project Borealis aims to fill the years-long void left by Half-Life 2: Episode 3 and is closer than ever to release with its Steam page.

Project Borealis is set to fill the void left after Half-Life 2. Developed with Unreal Engine 5, the project offers the chance to rediscover iconic locations like Ravenholm with updated visuals and new gameplay mechanics. Created by Icebreaker Industries, this fan-made game aims to faithfully recreate the movement and gameplay dynamics of the original Half-Life 2 and is backed by an all-original soundtrack.

While Valve has yet to make an official Half-Life 3 announcement, Project Borealis has fans excited. This project is a candidate to fulfill the longing for a sequel to the legendary game series. Moreover, thanks to its new page on Steam and the announced demo, Half-Life fans are one step closer to this world.
