Is Half-Life 3 Really on the Way?
Half-Life fans, could the wait be over? According to new information from Tyler McVicker, FKA Valve News Network has revealed that Valve is working on a mysterious Half-Life game codenamed “HLX”. This game is actually believed to be the long-awaited Half-Life 3. However, this information comes from a data review and not from sources inside Valve. Other data researchers like GabeFollower have independently confirmed the existence of HLX.
Is Half-Life 3 Really on the Way? New Claims About Valve’s Mysterious Project
Tyler McVicker also suggests that Valve is preparing a major update for Half-Life 2. Valve released a major Steam update for the 25th anniversary of the original Half-Life, and we can expect a similar approach for Half-Life 2. McVicker noticed a new test branch in Half-Life 2’s code and recently tracked down data updates. Unfortunately, no updates were released that day, but he is confident that “something” is on the way.
McVicker also noted that Valve is working on two new Half-Life games that are in development, as claimed by another influencer named “pyro”. One of these projects, HLX, aka Half-Life 3, is not yet ready for release. He also confirmed that Valve is working on Deckard, a new VR headset. McVicker suggests that Valve may develop a new Half-Life game to showcase this VR headset.
Based on previous rumors, Tyler McVicker speculates that Valve may be working on a co-op Half-Life game where one player plays Gordon Freeman on PC and the other player plays Alyx Vance in a VR headset. While these claims remain unconfirmed for now, there are strong indications that Valve is working on these projects.
