Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Gets Huge 1.2 Update
Warhorse Studios’ highly acclaimed medieval-themed RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 aims to offer players a more refined experience with its 1.2 update. The game’s new patch, which was released in February, is a full 62.5 GB in size and includes more than 1,000 bug fixes, balance adjustments, and new features. The update is currently available for download for PC and PS5 users. Xbox Series X|S users will have to wait a little longer, as Warhorse Studios announced that the update will be released on this platform soon.
What’s New in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Update 1.2
One of the most striking innovations of the update is the barber feature, where players can change the hair and beard style of the main character Henry. You can now go to the barbers in the cities of Zhelejov and Kuttenberg to give your character a new look. In addition, new outfits specially designed for stealth-oriented players have been added to the game.
The update also addresses platform-specific issues, such as fixing audio stuttering issues, fixing a flickering issue in sky textures on consoles, and fixing bugs that caused inventory icons to appear blurry on Xbox Series S. Many bugs in the game’s missions have also been fixed, especially eliminating issues that prevented progress in side missions.
Although Warhorse Studios managed to make the game more stable with the 1.2 update, players are still waiting for more content in the future. Hardcore Mode and horse racing will be added to the game in the spring. Three major DLCs will then be released in the summer, fall, and winter. The first of these DLCs, Brushes With Death, will tell the story of a mysterious artist, while the Legacy of the Forge DLC will focus on Henry’s journey to become a master blacksmith.
Mysteria Ecclesiae, which will be released in the winter, will be centered around the Sedletz Monastery and a deadly epidemic. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 aims to keep players engaged throughout the year with this update and future content. It is currently available to play on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
