Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Remake will change everything

The original Metal Gear Solid 3 game is one of the best games that Konami every made. So all Metal Gear Solid fans are excited about this work.

Originally announced back in May, Metal Gear Solid 3 is being developed by Konami’s in house team and Virtuos, which made ports for games like Final Fantasy 10 and Nier Automata. The game is the spotlight of Metal Gear Solid’s latest revival, which also includes two collections of remasters of older titles.

During the Xbox Partner Preview, first sneak peak at Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Remake is released. The video shows Snake sneaking around in the jungle while traversing murky waters and hiding from enemy soldiers in bushes.

The clip also includes a few close shots of the local fauna like birds and crocodiles. Overall, it seems that the art design of the game is going for a realistic look. At the end of the trailer, it was also revealed that Metal Gear Solid 3 will be made using Epic’s Unreal Engine 5, which was already rumored to be the game’s engine.

While the graphics are looking good, it’s certain that remaking a classic like Metal Gear Solid 3 will not be easy. Hideo Kojima won’t work on the Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Remake, as he’s not been part of Konami for years.
