Xbox Game Pass Ultimate has added Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 to its content library.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate
The latest entry in the long-running series of flight sims was originally announced at the June 2023 Xbox Games Showcase. Since it’s developed by Xbox Game Studios subsidiary Asobo Studio, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 has always been guaranteed to reach Xbox Game Pass on day one.
Following around four years of development, MFS 2024 has landed on the Xbox Series X/S and PC on Tuesday, November 19, priced at $69.99. PC Game Pass and XGP Ultimate members can play the base game at no extra cost as part of their subscription. Upgrades to the Deluxe and Premium Editions of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 are priced at $30 and $60, respectively. There’s also the $130 Aviator Edition upgrade, though hardcore fans who might be interested in its expanded lineup of aircraft and upgraded airports are likely to just purchase the $199.99 game outright rather than play it via a subscription service.
Not accounting for Xbox Game Pass Standard releases, MFS 2024 is the sixth new title to reach Microsoft’s subscription service in November 2024. It will be followed by STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl, a much anticipated and delayed immersive sim that’s scheduled to arrive on Wednesday, November 20.
Metroidvania Nine Sols is then set to arrive on November 26, whereas RTS Aliens: Dark Descent will join it a day later. Shortly afterward, Xbox Game Pass is going to lose eight titles on November 30, including some popular releases such as The Walking Dead: The Final Season, Conan Exiles, and Coral Island.
