New DLC for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Has Announced
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has announced the release date for its third and final DLC, Mysteria Ecclesiae.
New DLC for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has already received two major DLC packs in its Brushes With Death and Legacy of the Forge expansions, both of which added an original storyline and fresh gameplay elements to the base game. Now, starting on November 11, 2025, players will have a chance to experience one “final adventure” in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 with its Mysteria Eccelsiae DLC.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s Mysteria Ecclesiae expansion is the game’s third story DLC and will be taking players to the Sedletz Monastery, where they will be solving a mystery surrounding a deadly plague. According to the announcement trailer’s description, this will be “Henry’s most haunting investigation yet,” seeing players “question the brothers, follow the clues, and uncover the source of a deadly outbreak before it’s too late.”
Confirmed features for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC:
New, historically accurate Sedletz Monastery location that will unlock and remain open after completion of the DLC.
A new cinematic quest involving the investigation of a sudden disease outbreak.
Players will need to “sharpen their senses” and “manage their resources” in order to survive.
A new outfit, weapon, potions, and books.
New knowledge and abilities for Henry.
“Unexpected endings”
Considering the DLC revolves around a disease outbreak, Henry’s new knowledge and abilities will likely be tied to his Scholarship and Alchemy skills, as he potentially learns what he can to help cure those who are sick and stop the disease from spreading further. The “unexpected endings” for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s DLC is perhaps its most intriguing aspect, since it strongly implies the story will have different possible outcomes — which inadvertently suggests this particular expansion will be more story-driven than the previous two.
It was only ever expected that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 would receive three DLC packs, although fans might have been holding out for more. With Mysteria Ecclesiae being called the “final adventure,” it is all but set in stone that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s ongoing narrative will come to an end on November 11, 2025. Not only that, but with Tom McKay having already recorded his final voiceover for the series, it seems Henry’s narrative, which started with the first game, will also conclude with the sequel’s final DLC.
