New Intel Nova Lake Processor Leaked
Information about Intel’s Nova Lake processors, which it plans to launch in 2026, has been leaked. According to the details shared on Reddit, these new generation processors will offer a two-fold improvement in performance and efficiency compared to Intel’s current Arrow Lake processors. The Nova Lake-S model, which has 16 performance cores (P-core) and 32 efficiency cores (E-core), is particularly noteworthy.
Technical Features of Nova Lake
Nova Lake processors will continue to use the P-core architecture for high-performance operations and the E-core architecture for background tasks and energy saving. According to the leaked information, the Nova Lake-S model will offer twice as many cores as Arrow Lake’s most powerful processor, the Core Ultra 9 285K (8 P-core and 16 E-core), with a total of 48 cores.
Apart from this, the Nova Lake family will also include variants such as Nova Lake-H and Nova Lake-U, designed for mobile devices. While the Nova Lake-H model has 4 P-cores and 8 E-cores, the Nova Lake-U model, which focuses on lower power consumption, will be limited to only 4 P-cores. Intel’s Nova Lake processors will compete directly with AMD’s 32-core Zen 6 processors. Intel aims to be the leader in the sector not only in performance increase but also in energy efficiency with these new generation processors.
Intel, which was criticized for the performance problems experienced in Arrow Lake processors, wants to make up for these mistakes with Nova Lake.
