New Trailers for the Wolverine Game are on the way
The Wolverine game has been eagerly awaited for a long time, and despite the approaching release date, we still don’t have many details. This has led players to ask, “Why the silence?” It seems that Insomniac is deliberately maintaining this silence and wants us to be patient a little longer.
New Gameplay Showcase Coming for Wolverine
Developer Insomniac Games has directly explained why pre-orders haven’t opened for Marvel’s Wolverine. According to the studio, players need to see the game better first. In other words, they are choosing the opposite of the classic “open pre-orders, then show the game” approach.
This statement is actually important. Because generally, with big games, pre-orders open first, and details gradually emerge. Insomniac, however, seems to want to take a more transparent approach here. They want to show the player gameplay first, so they know “what they’re getting.” To be frank, this approach isn’t something we’ve seen much of lately.
As for the timing, all eyes are on the spring months. The studio has clearly confirmed that new gameplay footage will be shared in Spring 2026. This most likely means we’ll see a new trailer or detailed gameplay demonstration during a PlayStation event, probably a State of Play presentation.
There’s hype for Wolverine, but Insomniac is putting the brakes on. They want to build trust first, then open pre-orders. If what’s shown is truly impressive, those pre-orders will likely open up on their own.
