This technology allows players to communicate more naturally as they move from one area to another.
Although the patent does not provide clear information on how voice chat will be implemented, this development has raised hopes that Nintendo may eventually integrate voice chat into the Switch 2. On the other hand, it seems logical that users would want to use the feature directly on the console, given the limitations of the current Switch Online mobile app.
