NVIDIA RTX 5090 Laptops Tested for the First Time
NVIDIA’s new generation mobile graphics card, the NVIDIA RTX 5090, has been subjected to independent testing for the first time. Introduced three months ago and available for pre-order, this powerful GPU stands out as a big step in terms of performance, especially for gamers and professionals. However, the price tag has attracted as much attention as the test results.
NVIDIA RTX 5090: Technical Details and Performance
The NVIDIA RTX 5090 raises the bar for mobile devices with its 24 GB GDDR7 memory. This memory is designed to provide high performance in graphics-intensive applications. The tests show that the card offers high-level performance in games like Cyberpunk 2077. However, it is stated that there are some limitations at 1080p resolution and that the card’s true power is revealed at 4K resolution.
The RTX 5090 was tested specifically on the Razer Blade 16. This laptop is paired with an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor. In the tests, it was seen that the NVIDIA RTX 5090 made a significant difference in QHD and 4K resolutions. However, the price of a device with this superior performance starts at $ 4,499.
Along with the RTX 5090, NVIDIA also introduced the 5080, 5070 Ti, and 5070 models. The lower-end 5060 and 5050 models are expected to be released soon. These cards are designed to appeal to a wider user base. However, for now, the RTX 5090 stands out as the flagship model of the series.
The performance offered by the RTX 5090 offers an impressive option for both gamers and content creators. However, the high price tag limits the accessibility of these devices. It remains to be seen whether NVIDIA will offer more affordable alternatives in the future. Those who want to experience this powerful GPU may have to allocate a serious budget.
