People Can Fly’s New FPS Game Lost Rift Announced
Polish game studio People Can Fly has officially announced Lost Rift, a new survival-themed first-person shooter. The game, developed for PC, will be available for early access on Steam in 2025. Drawing attention with both single-player and cooperative modes that can be played with up to five people, Lost Rift aims to offer players a challenging survival experience. It is stated that the game will take place in a world full of different gameplay mechanics, strategic decisions, and intense conflicts.
Lost Rift: Story and Gameplay
Lost Rift invites players to a challenging adventure set in a mysterious archipelago. Starting on an island called Pioneer’s Landing, players will gather resources, set up camp, produce equipment, and try to survive using the surrounding flora and fauna. Players will leave the peaceful environment on the islands and fight other opponents in challenging player-versus-player-versus-environment (PvPvE) missions.
The game offers players a lot of freedom. They can build their own bases, go on different challenging expeditions, and fight against dynamic weather events. While natural disasters such as storms, fires, and dense fog make survival even more difficult, these elements deepen the atmosphere and strategic structure of the game.
Lost Rift will meet players in early access in 2025. People Can Fly stated on the game’s Steam page that they will collect player feedback and further develop the experience. Lost Rift stands out as a new breath that the studio brings to the survival genre after successful games such as Outriders and Bulletstorm. The game’s trailer and first visuals have already created great excitement.
