The free PS Plus games for March 2025 were headlined by Dragon Age: The Veilguard and still available for all subscribers. PS Plus subscribers retain access to the free games forever as long as they stay subscribed to the service, so it’s a great way to build one’s library of digital games.
The next batch of free PS Plus games will be available starting Tuesday, April 1. On that day, PS Plus subscribers will get to claim RoboCop: Rogue City for their digital libraries, along with The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory. RoboCop is only on PS5, so PS4 gamers will be missing out on that one, but on the bright side, they will be able to check out both Texas Chain Saw Massacre and Digimon Story. PS Plus subscribers will have until May 5 to snag the free games for April 2025.
RoboCop: Rogue City is a well-received FPS from 2023 that is set to receive a standalone expansion, Unfinished Business, in Q3 of this year. By giving away the original game through PS Plus, it’s possible that there will be more people interested in Unfinished Business when it’s available, so adding it to the free PS Plus games lineup seems like a strategic move.
Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory is a similar story. Digimon Story: Time Stranger is launching in 2025, and by giving PlayStation gamers easy access to its predecessor, it’s possible people who may have skipped Time Stranger may actually be tempted to pick it up. The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, meanwhile, is an online asymmetric multiplayer horror game that needs an active community to really thrive. Giving the game away for free on PS Plus will ensure that a lot more people have access to it and could do wonders for its player count.
The free PS Plus games for April 2025 will be available starting Tuesday, April 1. In the meantime, PS Plus subscribers are free to claim the free games for March 2025.
