Satisfactory Console Release Date Announced
Satisfactory, which has achieved top marks on PC, is once again making headlines with its long-awaited console launch. Coffee Stain Studios’ announcement at Gamescom has both Xbox and PlayStation fans on the edge of their seats. The new trailer also revealed important details about the game’s future.
Satisfactory Coming to Consoles on November 4th
Coffee Stain Studios announced that Satisfactory will launch on November 4th for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. It’s not yet clear whether the console versions of the highly successful PC game will feature content restrictions. The studio also stated that cross-platform support won’t be available initially, but could be considered in the future.
The console release was originally planned for the first quarter of this year. However, the studio delayed the process, citing development challenges. It was announced that the console version would be ready after the 1.1 update was completed. This version will be available to players with all the game’s updates and updated content.
The development team states that they have worked diligently to ensure Satisfactory’s console experience is as close to the PC version as possible. Adapting the challenging control schemes and large-scale systems to the gamepad was a key focus for the team. The studio believes this adaptation will provide a comfortable experience for players.
Furthermore, the game’s inclusion in Xbox Game Pass is also a topic of interest. However, Coffee Stain Studios has stated that there are currently no such plans. This means that Satisfactory’s console release will be available only through standalone purchases. Nevertheless, the console release is expected to further expand the game’s community.
