Second Trailer Released for Until Dawn Movie
Sony Pictures has released the second trailer for PlayStation Productions’ new Until Dawn movie. Released just a month after the first trailer, these new images offer viewers more action and horror scenes. Adapted from the video game of the same name, which was released for PS4 in 2015 and remade last year, the film follows the struggle of a group of young characters to survive.
Until Dawn Movie: Story and Details
Until Dawn offers a story inspired by the “rewind and make different choices after death” mechanics in the video game. In the film, a group of young people are killed one by one by a masked killer. However, with each death, time is rewound and the characters are forced to relive the same night over and over again. The only way for the group to escape this curse is to survive until morning.
The film is directed by David F. Sandberg, known for his successful work in the horror genre. The cast includes Ella Rubin, Michael Cimino, Odessa A’zion and Peter Stormare, who plays the famous character of the video game Dr. Hill.
The new trailer makes the audience feel the dark and tense atmosphere of the film more closely. The masked killer’s appearance in a different way each time and the threats becoming increasingly frightening will offer scenes that will keep the audience on their seats.
Until Dawn will meet the audience in theaters on April 25, 2025. This second major adaptation by PlayStation Productions after “Gran Turismo” is eagerly awaited by video game fans and horror lovers. With the increase in video game adaptations, Until Dawn seems to be a candidate to bring a new breath to the genre. Those who watch the trailer state that both the story and the visual effects are quite impressive. The film seems to appeal to a wide audience when it is released.
