Shinji Mikami, known as the creator of Resident Evil franchise has recently founded a new company called Kamuy Inc.

Shinji Mikami is one of successful game creators among all other game creators. He usually created horror games such as Resident Evil and The Evil Within franchise. After he left the Capcom, he founded a studio callaed Tango Gameworks. Last year, he left this studio and he’s currently working with Grasshopper Manufacture Inc. on Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered.
Mikami didn’t announce the establishment of Kamuy Inc., but did have it included in his creator bio on the Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered website. No other information about the corporation is mentioned. There are no social media accounts, no official websites, or any filing documents that indicate what his direction for this company is.
The new founded company is currently not confirmed by any other platforms. Currently there is no information about why Shinji Mikami didn’t announce the company’s name yet. Meanwhile, fans are waiting for The Evil Within franchise to come back.
Maybe Shinji Mikami is planning to announce the company name in one of events, or maybe he is preparing something special for announcement. We will wait and see what future will bring for us.
