Resident Evil 0
The game’s storyline takes place before Mansion Incident, 23 July 1998, Umbrella owned train, Ecliptic Express has been attacked by swarm of leeches.
The same time, S.T.A.R.S. Bravo team was sent to investigate unexplained cannibalistic murders, due the crash, the helicopter lands to mountain.
Meanwhile, the Bravo Team searches the area and found out that the transporter vehicle who carrying prisoner Billy Coen was crashed, Captain Enrico Marini orders team to search for him.
While searching the Raccoon Forest, Rebecca Chambers discovers the Ecliptic Express and starts to investigate the train. Investigating that train leads her to many truths who was never been found and kept as a secret whole time.
Resident Evil 0 is a game what needs to be played first in order to understand the beginning of the storyline.
Resident Evil
The game’s storyline takes place in 24 July 1998, after one day of Resident Evil 0. The S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team was sent to investigate unexplained cannibalistic murders in Raccoon Forest.
The previous night, Bravo Team was also sent to investigate the murders. But, their radio contact was cut off. So, the Alpha Team has to go after the Bravo Team and investigate the situtation.
Later on, Alpha Team founds the derelict helicopter of Bravo Team and investigates the area. During this investigation, they attacked by zombie dogs and hides inside a mansion what was also swarmed by these dangerous creatures.
This mansion incident was the beginning of the bioterorism and there is no end for this and not any way to prevent either.
Resident Evil Remake
Original Resident Evil was also remade by Capcom due to original game was too old and need some minor changes. This Remake made the beginning of the Resident Evil much clear and it stil stands as a best Remake for Resident Evil as well.
Resident Evil 2
This game is set two months after the events of the first Resident Evil game, September 1998. In Raccoon City, almost all citizens was turn into zombie, who was hungry for flesh and many other creatures too.
Leon Scott Kennedy, who is a rookie for Raccoon Police Departmant was in his way to his first day of job, also Claire Redfield, who was searching for his missing brother was also there. The two founds each other and look for their way out.
After finding out the truth, things were not simple as it looks and all these people who were turn into zombie was just a result of greed, nothing else.
Resident Evil 2 Remake
In the way of recreating Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2 was also remade by Capcom. Unlike Resident Evil, this Remake made many changes into game. Some of them were acceptable, some were not.
Resident Evil 3
The game’s storyline takes place in September 1998. During the Raccoon Destruction Incident, Umbrella, who were the company behind these incidents were trying to wipe out all evidence and sent a bioweapon to hunt down S.T.A.R.S. Jill Valentine, who were the only S.T.A.R.S. member left in the Raccoon City, was the target of this bioweapon, Nemesis.
In her way to out town, Jill Valentine has to stay alive but also need to find out the truth as well but this bioweapon was not easy. It programmed to kill all S.T.A.R.S. members and Jill was the only member left, so this bioweapon has no other target. It was not a easy job what Jill was trying to do.
Resident Evil 3 Remake
Just like previous Resident Evil games, Resident Evil 3 was also remade but unfortunately, this Remake was the worst Remake of the series and all Resident Evil fans wished Capcom never made it.
Resident Evil Outbreak File #1 & File #2
The game takes place in 1998, there were some hidden people who was also survived of the Raccoon Destruction Incident but their names was not so famous due to their unpopularity. These survivors were also faced these flesh hungry creatures and made their way out of this zombie swarmed town and created theirself a new beginning after these events.

The story begins with a request what made by Leon Scott Kennedy to Ark Thompson in November 1998. Leon asked Ark to infiltrate Umbrella facility. In the beginning of the game, Ark lost his memory and forgot everything, what was the purpose of his being here or what is going on in this island.
The truth reveals after some time, it turns out that Vincent Goldman was behind everything and he were conducting experiments on children. Due his memory absence, Ark thought he is Vincent Goldman and all people who were living in this island was also calling him Vincent.
After some time, Ark remembers everything and despite many struggles, he survives this island with Lily and Loth.
Resident Evil Code Veronica X
It’s been three months since destruction of Raccoon City, December 1998, Claire Redfield was stil trying to find his missing brother. She knew that Chris is alive but she had to find him. During her research, her leads lure to Umbrella’s Paris facility.
Claire tried impressive ways to escape from Umbrella employees but these were not enough. She captured by Rodrigo Juan Raval, an Umbrella military commander. Claire finds herself interrogated and then imprisoned.
Later on, she makes her way out and met with Steve Burnside, who were also prisoner in Rockford Island. This island were not a regular prisoner. It’s owned by Umbrella and things were not simple. Claire and Steve have to stay alive and search for Chris.
Resident Evil Dead Aim
The game’s storyline takes place in September 2002 and starts on board the Umbrella owned ocean Liner, Spencer Rain, which was contaminated by T Virus stolen from Umbrella Paris Laboratory by bioterorist and former Umbrella exployer, Morpheous Duvall.
Morpheous was holding the world hostage, with the US and China at ransom for $1 billion, if they don’t pay the money, his followers will launch missiles what carrying T Virus. Bruce McGivern who is a member of USSTARTCOM was also sent in.
During this mission, Bruce was against many diffulties with Fong Ling. He had to make his way out of his ship and accomplish his mission. Take down Morpheous.
Resident Evil The Darkside Chronicles
Just like The Umbrella Chronicles, this game also features past Resident Evil stories such as Resident Evil 2 and Code Veronica X. After explaining this stories for new Resident Evil players, this game also reveals a story what was never explained before: The South American Incident, takes place in 2002. Operation Javier is the main focus of this game.
Resident Evil The Umbrella Chronicles
The game features past Resident Evil stories through first person perspective and doesn’t allow free movement. It features Resident Evil 0, Resident Evil and Resident Evil 3 events. It also includes stories such as Umbrella’s End which is takes place February 2003 in Russia Umbrella Facility.
It ends Umbrella once and for all. The other stories explain how Ada Wong survived from the damage she took and Hunk who is escaped from William Birkin’s attack.
Resident Evil 4
The first modern Resident Evil game who also brought many changes to gaming industry as well. The game takes place in 2004. The president’s daughter has been kidnapped and Leon sent after to rescue her.
The village was not a regular village, it rules by a cult, Los Illuminados. Leon’s mission was not simple. He needs to rescue president’s daughter, also stay alive in order to accomplish his mission. This mission also made Leon met with old friends: Jack Krauser and Ada Wong.
Resident Evil 4 Remake
The Remake for Resident Evil 4 was also made. It’s mainly good Remake for Resident Evil 4, also events of the story almost followed by developers just like original game.

Resident Evil Revelations
In 2005, between the events of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, Revelations depicts the BSAA, a counter terrorism group co-founded by Chris and Jill shortly after it’s establishment, the game begins.
Jill and Parker are sent out by BSAA head Clive R. O’Brian to search for Chris and his new partner, Jessica Sherawat, who have reported gone missing during a mission. The game starts in 2009, six years after the destruction of Umbrella and eleven years after the destruction of Raccoon City. Chris Redfield is sent to investigate possible B.O.W. (Bio Organic Weapon) smuggling in Africa.
After arriving in the Kijuju, Chris meets his partner, Sheva Alomar of the BSAA West African branch. After this meet, Chris and Sheva investigates the situations. Later on, the truths reveals: Albert Wesker was behind all of these and Chris thought he died with Jill back in the incident happened with Jill.

Resident Evil Revelations 2
In 2011, the game let us see the story from two different angles, the main characters for this game is Claire Redfield and Barry Burton. Claire Redfield, who is a senior member of an anti bioterror organization Terra Save, attends to party in the TerraSave HQ.
Meanwhile Claire meets with her new partner, Moira Burton, who is older daughter of BSAA advisor Barry Burton. The party doesn’t end well as planned and Claire, Moira, many other people have been captured.
Barry Burton, who is trying to find Claire and his missing daughter Moira, after hearing Moira’s SOS message 6 months later, Barry heads out to the island alone.
Resident Evil 6
The game takes place over a period of at least six months, from December 2012 to June 2013. It also takes place in various locations around the world. The main characters of this game is Leon, Ada, Chris and Jake.
Jake Muller makes his first appearance in this game, who is Albert Wesker’s son. Four character has their own scenarios.
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard
The game takes place in 2017, where Ethan Winters, who is the main character of the game travelling to Louisiana after receiving a video message from her missing wife Mia. Despite the fact that Mia had gone missing three years ago and most likely dead, Ethan stil tries to find her.
After arriving abandoned farmhouse where Mia imprisoned, Ethan finds out that this farmhouse is not a regular one and he is in the middle of bioterrorist attack and Mia, who were gone missing back then was actually one of the main reasons Baker Family is like that.
Eveline, the children looking girl was actually a bioweapon who can capable of doing many things with just controlling minds.
Resident Evil Village
The story takes place in February 2021, Ethan Winters and his wife Mia Winters have relocated to the parts of Eastern Europe courtest of BSAA, where they have been laying in cover for years. Mia and Ethan has a daughter named Rose.
One day, Ethan and Mia’s house has been attacked BSAA Hound Wolf Squad led by Chris Redfield. In this attack, Chris kills Mia and captures Ethan and Rose.
Later on, everything becomes much clear, Mother Miranda, who is after Rose’s secret powers in order to bring her dead daughter, took place of Mia, that’s why Chris killed her but clearly she was not dead.
She captured Rose in the beginning of game and now Ethan has to go after her daughter, also kill Miranda in order to save Rose but things were not easy. Miranda was not alone, she also had Four Lords, which was going after Ethan. Ethan had to clear these lords in order to save her daughter.
