With the recent updates released, Silent Hill 2 Remake sold 1 million copies within it’s first week of release.

After a very long time, Silent Hill franchise finally made it’s come back with recently released Silent Hill 2 Remake. This time, Konami collaborated with Bloober Team to bring this game for fans and after years of waiting, we finally got a new Silent Hill game.

Bloober Team made a loyal remake to it’s original version. Besides adding more content to game, Bloober Team made a wonderful remake for classic game. This success did awarded with sales as well. With the recent released reports, it’s revealed that Silent Hill 2 Remake sold 1 million copies within it’s first week of release.

This is a big success for both Bloober Team and Konami. These sale numbers might be enough for Konami to keep making Silent Hill games. Fans are looking forward to see Remake game for Silent Hill 1, 3 and 4 as well. With this fast sale numbers, Konami should be happy to make more Remake games and never let players forget their success in horror genre.
