Silent Hill f Review Score Leaked
The Silent Hill series is preparing to make its return after a long hiatus with Silent Hill f. This release is a major milestone for fans who haven’t seen a new game in the main series since 2012’s Downpour. Rumors about review scores, just days before the game’s release, have further fueled anticipation.
First Rumors About Silent Hill f
According to Metacritic, official reviews of the game will be released in the coming days. However, some writers’ early access impressions have already leaked online. In a post shared on Reddit, DualShockers writer Elena Chapella described Silent Hill f as “truly magnificent.” She noted that the combat system, in particular, bears Souls-like elements but doesn’t completely veer towards that style.
Chapella stated that the game’s difficulty balance is prominent, requiring players to carefully choose which encounters to engage in. This is interpreted as a sign of a design that aligns with Silent Hill’s classic atmosphere. It has also been confirmed that the game will feature new boss battles and additional cinematics in New Game+ mode.
According to leaked information, the review embargo may end on September 22nd. This date coincides with the early access date for the Deluxe Edition. Therefore, it seems likely that official scores will be released just a few days before the game’s release.
Silent Hill f will launch worldwide on September 25th for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. The excitement generated by the initial reviews has further fueled interest in the series’ return. The game has already become one of the most eagerly anticipated releases of the year for horror fans.
