It looks like French website has leaked the release date of the mysterious Silent Hill: Townfall.
Silent Hill Townfall Release Date
The past year has been a wildly successful one for Silent Hill. In October 2024, the Silent Hill 2 remake brought James Sunderland’s terrifying adventure to new audiences, selling over two million copies in its first three months and winning several major awards. Its success was recently overshadowed, however, as Silent Hill f beat the Silent Hill 2 remake as the fastest-selling entry in the series shortly after its release on September 25. Fans of the beloved horror franchise may have more to look forward to soon, as another terrifying title may be just around the corner, according to a new rumor.
According to the French fansite Biohazard Ultimate, Silent Hill: Townfall will be released for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on March 26, 2026, with this date soon to be confirmed during a Silent Hill Transmission stream this month. The latter part of this claim is particularly believable, as Konami has held these broadcasts around Halloween in the past. A spin-off of the franchise, Silent Hill: Townfall is being developed by Screen Burn, and will reportedly kick off a unique anthology series that will invite many different creative minds to contribute.
Earlier this month, developer Bloober Team shared more details about the Silent Hill 1 remake, stating that the game has officially entered full production. Alongside this highly anticipated title, the studio’s other team is working on an unannounced title, with no details having been shared just yet. Given the success of the Silent Hill 2 remake, expectations are high, and fans are also beginning to wonder if a Silent Hill 3 remake will soon follow.
