Skull and Bones’ New Plan Creates Excitement

Ubisoft’s long-talked-about pirate-themed game Skull And Bones has officially announced its second-year plan as it leaves its first year behind. The game’s new roadmap includes important innovations that will be offered to players over the course of four seasons. The PvP mode will be added to the game very soon, and ground battles will be active in the third season. In addition, giant new ships and the legendary creature Kraken are also among the plans.

Skull And Bones Gets Stronger With A New Roadmap

With the start of the new season, the “Item Ascension” system and “World Tiers” offering a new difficulty level were added to Skull And Bones. However, the most striking innovation of the season was the PvP mode “Death Tides”, which will be added to the game in the middle. In this mode, players will fight each other on four new maps with ready-made ships or personal equipment. Although no specific date has been given, this innovation is expected to come with an interim update to be released at the end of May.

Apart from PvP, the most interesting announcement was that land battles will be included in the game in the third season. Since the beginning, players have been able to get off their ships, but the interactions on land were quite limited. With the system to be introduced in the new season, players will be able to engage in sword fights, defeat their opponents with their pistols, and try to survive against zombie pirates. Ubisoft also shared some of these features with a short gameplay video.

According to the second year plan, season two will bring the largest ship ever called the “Frigate” to the game, while season four will introduce the legendary monster of the seas, the Kraken. All these additions may allow Skull And Bones to receive the attention it deserves at the end of its long development process. It is remarkable that the game is still standing in this period when unsuccessful live service games are canceled one after another.

After many years of development, huge investment, and a mixed launch, this new roadmap for Skull And Bones is promising. With Ubisoft’s determination and improvements based on player feedback, the second year seems like it could change the fate of the game. All eyes are now on the release of PvP and the details of ground combat.
