Spider-Man 4 Reveals Scorpion’s Return for the First Time
New set photos from Spider-Man 4, a joint production between Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures, confirm a long-awaited return. Scorpion, who hasn’t been seen since 2017’s Homecoming, returns in the new film starring Tom Holland. Titled “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” the film is from Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings director Destin Daniel Cretton and will hit the big screen in summer 2026.
Spider-Man 4 Set Photos Reveal Scorpion’s New Look
MyTimeToShineHello, known for its leaks, shared several new photos from the Spider-Man 4 set on social media. The images show Scorpion, played by Michael Mando, wearing a striking white suit. In one shot, he appears to have handcuffs on his left wrist, sparking curiosity about his role in the story.
Meanwhile, Tom Holland, who plays Peter Parker, was also spotted in his new costume. The @AllOnFilm account shared photos of Holland walking around the set in his Spider-Man costume. Another shot shared by @captaincupkicks shows the actor holding the film script, but the text isn’t visible due to the distance of the photo.
The plot of Spider-Man: Brand New Day is still under wraps, but the cast is packed with notable names. Zendaya (MJ), Jacob Batalon (Ned Leeds), Jon Bernthal (Punisher), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), and Marvin Jones III (Tombstone) are all set to appear in the film. Sadie Sink from Stranger Things, Liza Colón-Zayas from The Bear, and Trammel Tillman from Severance have also joined the cast in undisclosed roles.
The film will be released on July 31, 2026, as part of Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It will be followed by Avengers: Doomsday (December 16, 2026) and Avengers: Secret Wars (December 17, 2027). It appears Spider-Man 4 will be a major MCU milestone, both nodding to the past and ushering in a new era.
