Taking place between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, players will take on the role of Kay Vess, a clever con artist in the galactic underworld. Outlaws, the first open-world Star Wars game, will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and Ubisoft Connect on 2024.

“We’ve teamed up with the team at Lucasfilm Games to create Star Wars Outlaws, the first open-world Star Wars game,” said Julian Gerighty, creative director at Massive Entertainment, in a statement on Star Wars’ official site. “Our team at Massive Entertainment has a wealth of experience in open-world games powered by powerful technology. And it’s the perfect time to tell an original rogue story that will resonate with fans.”
