Tekken 8 Set to Spark with Miary Zo DLC
Bandai Namco has announced Miary Zo, a brand new fighter for Tekken 8. The young warrior of Madagascar origins brings a fresh breath to the game’s fighting arena with her animal-inspired fighting style and distinctive energy. Miary Zo will be available in early access for Season 2 Character Pass holders on December 1st, and will be available to all players on December 4th.
Tekken 8 Enters a New Era with Miary Zo
With the arrival of Miary Zo, Bandai Namco will also introduce a new fighting stage called Baobab Horizon. The 18-year-old Madagascar fighter adopts a unique style that blends Moraingy and other African martial arts. Miary Zo, a keen observer of animals, has developed her fighting techniques inspired by natural creatures. Alongside her in battle, ring-tailed lemurs “Vanilla” and “Cacao” symbolize the character’s love of nature.
Tekken 8’s creative team states that Miary Zo not only adds a new character to the game, but also a distinct cultural dimension. The fluid movements of African martial arts are strikingly reflected in Miary Zo’s fighting style. Players will experience a unique experience thanks to the character’s agility and nature-based combos.
This update will also include patch 2.05. The new patch will include character balancing and cosmetic content, as well as new items for the Tekken Shop. Bandai Namco aims to restore the competitive balance in the game with Miary Zo’s release.
Before Miary Zo, another DLC character, Armor King, will be released on October 16th. Season 2 Pass owners will have early access to Armor King starting October 13th. This update, along with the new characters, will get Tekken 8’s second season off to a strong start. Tekken 8 is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam). With the arrival of Miary Zo, the series’ fighting arena becomes more colorful, faster, and much more brutal.
