Terminator: Survivors Delayed to 2025
Set in the aftermath of Judgment Day, the upcoming Terminator: Survivors will challenge players to navigate an open world infested by Skynet’s machines. Players must scavenge for resources, build a base, and survive relentless attacks, either solo or in co-op with up to three other players. The game will emphasize teamwork and strategy as players work together to rebuild humanity.
With Twitter post, Nacon announced the delay of Terminator: Survivors, stating the new expected release date as 2025. It explained that the additional time is necessary to fully realize the ambitious vision for the game. The developer emphasized their dedication to creating a deep, post apocalyptic world where every decision matters and survival is key. Acknowledging the enthusiastic response from fans to previous announcements, Nacon expressed gratitude for the support and patience, reassuring the community that the delay is in the best interest of the game’s quality and the expectations of its players. The developer concluded its message with a nod to the Terminator franchise’s iconic line, promising, “We’ll be back.”
One of the game’s interesting features is the inclusion of the T-800, a single, relentless enemy designed to be a constant threat throughout the game. T-800 will stalk players multiple times during play time, creating an atmosphere of tension and dread as players must continually evade this unstoppable force. The T-800 cannot be defeated, reinforcing the survival aspect and making every encounter a matter of life and death for players.
Developer Nacon didn’t announced any specific release date, only said 2025, which means it can be either at the start of 2025 or maybe at the end of 2025, we can’t say for sure but we all can agree that if the game will be successful, then we can wait for it.
